| Bio: | Name: Katsuragi Yako What world they came from: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro Anime Birthday: March 10 Age: 16 Species: Human Occupation: Detective/Demon's slave Appearance: Petite, around 5'1, with short blonde hair and big brown eyes. Slim, with long legs, and sweet, heart-shaped face. Special abilities/talents: She can pretty much digest anything and is a total trouble magnet. Yako can withstand many variations of torture (i.e. head being twisted 360 degrees, being dragged by the head, being thrown bodily, etc.) and heals incredibly fast, generally ending up fine moments after the previous-mentioned abuse. Quirks: Yako has the largest appetite. Ever. She eats enough to clear out an army bunker, in just one meal. She can be a bit too trusting, and likes to cook. She forms attachments a bit too easily for her own good as well. It has also been implied that her appetite is also coupled with an eating disorder of sorts, eating to cheer herself up and thus linking emotions, such as happiness, loneliness, sadness, anger, etc., with the need to eat. Personality: Yako is very sweet, and empathetic, having sympathized with and comforted murderers several times. She tends to want to think the best of people, and is really too nice for her own good. She bends to the will of others a good majority of the time, generally because the one asking her to do something is a violent demon, but can be quite stubborn when she sets her mind on something. However, despite her constantly cheerful demeanor, Yako is still very depressed over her father's death, and is more than a little lonely, making her extremely loyal to those she considers dear to her. Sexual orientation: Between her epic romance with all things culinary and her slave-driving demon of a boss, Yako has never had time for a real relationship. I'm putting her down as heterosexual, as she's attended an all-girl's school, and hasn't shown any interest in the fairer sex. She hasn't had many 'personal' encounters with men outside her job, so any advances will take her completely by surprise. Reputation: In order to attract more mysteries, Neuro, the demon, pushed her into the spotlight of the world. Yako is well known as the High School Girl Detective, even though she would really rather not be famous. Background Information: Yako's world was fairly normal, as was she, aside from her appetite. Then one day, Yako's father, an architect, was viciously murdered from inside a locked room. After the funeral, Yako was approached and subsequently enslaved by Nougami Neuro, a mystery-eating demon from Hell. In return for finding her father's killer, she was to act as his 'cover' in the human world, getting all the credit for the mysteries he solved, in turn attracting more mysteries for him to eat, in search of the 'Ultimate Mystery'. He also abuses her almost constantly: 360 degree head twists, dragging her by the head, throwing her bodily at walls, out windows...stepping on her, insulting her, etc. Kaitou Sai, the main antagonist, is a shape shifting serial killer who rips people open to see what makes them human, and wants to see Neuro's insides to figure out who 'he' is/was. Eventually, it's found out that he' is Yako's half-sibling and killed their father. Because of one of his plots to get Neuro, a portal to Hell was opened, and Neuro went into it to seal it. **Yako would be taken during the few months that Neuro was gone.** Heaven or Hell? Hell, most definitely, though against her will. Considering she was already enslaved under a demon; this is just one step up. | |||||||||
